Links Media Provides Translation Services in Support of Haitian Relief Efforts
(Gaithersburg, Md., Jan. 26, 2010) — In response to an urgent request from the Department of Homeland Security, Links Media translated several U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) documents from English into French and Haitian Creole. These instructions help Haitians apply for temporary protection status (TPS) and employment authorization. The Department of Homeland Security announced these temporary relief measures in the aftermath of January 12’s devastating earthquake.
