Beginning in 2006, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) contracted with Links Media to produce and disseminate communications to raise awareness and assist nations in Latin America and the Caribbean plan for an influenza pandemic. The resulting materials include the planning toolkit, Leadership During A Pandemic: What Your Municipality Can Do, a Pandemic Influenza Web site, a compendium of resources for communicators, and promotional print and interactive materials supporting the dissemination of these tools, all developed in English and in Spanish.
