Summary

Effective use of mass media in our work increases knowledge and changes attitudes and behaviors of key target audiences about important social, health, environmental, and educational issues that affect communities. For our clients, Links Media places news stories, articles, letters to the editor, public service announcements, and documentaries into local and national newspapers, magazines, online media, social networking sites, TV, and radio. We also monitor placement success through advanced on-line monitoring services. In 2008, we garnered over 500 million media impressions on malaria and infectious disease campaigns, and placed front page stories in the Los Angeles Times and obtained 30-minutes of live coverage on Telemundo for the new LAC+USC Medical Center.
